The Kawartha Lakes Singers is an SATB ensemble and is open to anyone who can meet the challenge.
Sight Reading ability is highly recommended (a must) and auditions are encouraged (subject to director’s discretion).

We are a varied group of individuals who come together to sing!
Our goal is to make music come alive.
KLS stretches the boundaries of what a small community choir can do.

We are looking for accomplished singers in all sections.

Arlene Gray B.A., A.R.C.T

Arlene, Founder and Director of the Kawartha Lakes Singers has a full musical life. She is Director of Music and administrator at Emmanuel United Church, Peterborough. She also directs the Bonachord Male Chorus, and Jubilaires Women’s Chorus, Peterborough. Arlene sings with the Peterborough Singers and rings with unBELLievable handbell ensemble. She also runs an active vocal studio, and is a well respected registered piano tuner and technician.

Gael Morrison 

Gael Morrison studied at the Royal Conservatory of Music where she received her ARCT and at the University of Toronto where she earned a Licentiate Diploma. She teaches piano and theory in Lindsay as well as being the accompanist for the Voices of Victory (a United Church children’s choir), and the Kawartha Lakes Singers. When not making music, you can find her kayaking or cross-country skiing- depending on the weather.
