Before auditioning, you may sit in a couple of rehearsals to get a general feel for the choir.
Audition procedure. (Max 15 min)
- Welcome and get to know each other a bit.
- Warmup (prefer you are warmed up before you arrive) and voice range/quality check
- Sing a piece (section) from Handel’s Messiah (your preferred part and choice) or something to show your part singing ability
- Sing a sight read piece with accompaniment (I will not make it ridiculous hard)
- Sight read a short acapella snip (4-8 bars)
- Breath a sigh of relief and Fill in form with pertinent details.
